1. fulfil my childhood dream to be an IAS
2. Study for four months crack cat( go into IIMA ) and pay homage to my frd
3. take another job say microsoft /google / ... and keep working
4.Take GRE apply for MS/PHD and become the great researcher my teachers thought i would be.

which one to choose.. what do i want.. where is the enthusiam ..

in anger you might say things.. when u get hurt u might say things u might not do..
in ego you might say and do things u might not either..

things will be.. the way they will be...yet other things will change and would astound you ..

Yoga

What controls a restless mind is yoga ..when yoga controls the mind ..all powers can be attained..
because the mind is the cause of all that is good or bad..
so once the mind is controlled .. a person can be trully free
what is good what is bad..what is virtue what is sin..
to relieve the pain of anyone..that is virtous action..to cause pain .. to injure someone that is a sin..
love is virtue and hatred is sin..

Walk the Talk

well i was reading .. this book on vipassana.. one of my frds aadi gave me the book..
you can learn all the thoery but if you don't know practice.. you will never understand never grow..
So let all shed our inhibitions and walk the talk.. walk the line.. which we draw..

Knowledge

the knowledge is superior to everything in purification ,knowledge differentiates between good and bad ,what to see what to not ,what to hear and what not to ..to get affected from what to act for ..
the one who does not have knowledge nor faith ,who doubts that person is lost ...
he is neither happy on earth nor in heaven ...(if u ask a person whether he wants to go to heaven ,he will say yes but if u ask whether if he wants to die he will say no... such is the state..)

strange things happen when u visit religious places ,you marvel at the devotion of some ,the confused look on others ,the ritual for the masses, who visit the gurudwara ,the mosque ,the temple..the church ,but its just a journey for some who find peace in different ways ,the journey to find yourself is so long and is not related to the daily chores
we all have a pretense against change , hundred excuses against one commitment.I have to learn to talk only when i am spoken to ...what else

Cat results were out..so a lot of people were excited..

love does not fear..
love will not ask for a remittance..
and love is for the ideal..

why i say these things are due to ,if u fear .. u will be anger .. anger to pain and pain to suffering.. how can person in love suffer.. if u fear something.. then u will hate.. and if u hate the love u have for something will be tested severely and will be found wanting..so as long as u have fear u have hate u cannot love..
love is divine due to this..
love is not a trade.. it will not ask to loved in return ..it will not be turned into something else just cause of being spurned..
it is like tapasya ..which is for the its own sake..
love is for the ideal .. which we think is ideal.. hence we all love god..
and those people who remind us of the lord..

Free Icecream

i would like to use this post to thank subhashish chakraborty for the ice cream treat held at connaught place .. okay okay . shomu the miser would never treat us .. shomu thinking that we had our stomachs full dared me and jayant to eat one brick of 1000ml icecream each ..little did he know ..anyways shomu thanks for the treat

161 is a mythical number ..well not really but it has been given a mythical status atleast by my near and dear ones .Last weekend Me harsha and lokendra went bowling ..well jayant joined us mid way through the night ... we bowled .. for how long..well they closed down the place.. that's howlong ..

do i understand my options and measure them..
doing routine job is better than doing nothing
the wise and the unwise .. the difference is apparaent only then
do work as a penance .. action is a ritual ..
desire expectation is the like the stone which doesn't let a person swim ..
this expectation leads to make the action worthless
selfish desire leads to make action souless,don't u feel sometimes the action is enough .. even without the fruit of action

unwise also perform action .. but the unwise perform action for their own selfish desire

why does a person perform sin..
what makes a person unethical
desire list greed angry
knowledge is covered by desire lust greed
then a person becomes sinful

Things you own end up owning you ...

belief..

consider ..
people u can nurture then for years you can feed them for years ,take care of them yet they can turn on you..
why because it is the present which is important .. only the dead live in the past.
consider the paradox we think we would live forever knowing we can die any moment..

consider the clothese we buy the car we drive .. the code we write ...everything owns us as we own it..
ever relationship is two way for it would last.. only then..

if u cannot differenciate between good and bad then u cannot be happy ever
desires take away your intelligence

if u all the time desire something or the other .. then you keep finding ways to satifying your desire..
like if i want to be rich should i take it from everyone else make everyone else bankrupt ..
if i want wood should cut all the forests in the world..

how to satisfy ..
think beyond your hunger and find the reason for your hunger ..
these days a man flows without realising where he is flowing and thinks its nature to flow ..
change is permanent..
but without knowing the change , without understanding the need to change should change happen

This saturday somebody died in the mud hut
grief has no sound or does it..

i was looking at a mud hut.. in these rainy days ..i wondered the hardships the people living in slums are going through in these rainy days ..i marvel at the spirit of those people who atleast i admire ..
why do i admire them
i admire the strength they have ..the will to survive. ..
